Why nothing is uploaded

Most image tools work by sending your files to a server, processing them there and sending them back. That is simpler to build, and it means your unreleased product photography sits on somebody else’s hard drive.

This one uses your browser’s own image processing instead. The practical consequences are that it is faster for large batches (no upload and download), it works on a slow or metered connection, there is no queue, and there is no file that we could hand over or lose. It also means we have no per-image cost, which is why the whole thing is free rather than freemium.

How to use it

  1. Drop your photos into the tool above, or click to choose files.
  2. Pick the marketplace you are listing on — size and background are set for you.
  3. Adjust breathing room, add a watermark if you want one, and pick a format.
  4. Check the preview, then export. One photo downloads directly; a batch comes as a zip.

Common questions

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Every image is processed by your own device using your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored, and there is no account. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool still works.

Is there a limit on how many photos I can process?

No. Because the processing happens on your device rather than on our servers, there is no batch limit and no cost to us per image. Very large batches are limited only by your device’s memory.

Is it really free?

Yes, entirely. There is no paid tier, no account, and no feature that is locked. We build custom internal tools for companies, and ShelfReady is a working example of that.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, on both Android and iOS. It was built to work on mid-range hardware, since a large share of sellers work from a phone rather than a desktop.

What file formats can I use?

JPG, PNG and WebP can be dropped in, and you can export as JPG, PNG or WebP. HEIC files from an iPhone are not yet supported — save them as JPG first.

Need a tool like this for your own workflow?

We built ShelfReady in-house. If your team is doing something repetitive by hand — image pipelines, catalogue prep, order admin — we build custom tools for it. Specs are $1,000; MVPs start at $3,000.
